New England Floor Covering was established by Nigel Mucklow and Russ West.  Prior to starting NEFC, Nigel and Russ came from the background of carpet manufacturing at a small Winooski mill they owned.   Russ retired and Brian Shea came into the business, bringing in years of construction management experience.

In 2000, Brian Cherry and Phyllis Donohue were hired as Project Managers; in 2023, they became full partners when Nigel Mucklow retired.

NEFC’s installation crews have been led by foreman Greg Bushey since 2003. Greg has recruited a team of certified, experienced installers as well as a loyal team of fully insured subcontractors. Most of our crew have been with NEFC for 10+ years.
